Springfield Township Environmental Advisory Committee
STEAC is an advisory committee with members appointed by the Township Board of Commissioners. STEAC holds monthly public meetings, advises the commissioners regarding environmental issues identified by community members, sponsors forums and information sessions, and engages in long term projects to improve the environmental well-being of the community.
Our current major project is a Stormwater Best Management Practices Park being planned for the vicinity of the municipal complex. Read more about this project and what it means to you in the projects section of this web-site.
This website is a work in progress and is intended to provide information about STEAC activities and environmental resources that may be of use to Springfield residents. Please check back often for new content!
